Early Life

I was born in the UK, and when I was three, my family and I moved to Portugal as missionaries.

Growing up, I lived in several towns in the north of Portugal and spoke English at home and Portuguese at school.

Education And Career

I studied Languages and Translation at University, and after graduating I moved to the UK for two years, where I studied to be an EFL teacher (English as a Foreign Language).

Then I moved back to Portugal and spent the next two years teaching English and doing freelance translation work. During this time, I moved to Porto, the second largest city in Portugal.

Family Life

I got married to my husband, Luís, in 2012. In early 2014, we had our first daughter, Abby. Then, at the end of 2015, Priscila was born. Finally, in February 2017, our son, Daniel, was born.

We had three children in three years!

Local Church

My family and I are involved in a local church called Vida Nova, part of Commission – a sphere of the global New Frontiers family of churches.

My husband, Luís, is an elder there. We are a reformed, charismatic church and we focus on discipleship, missional living, and social action.

Thank you for stopping by! 🙂
